Inside Sales

Intercel designs, manufactures and sells battery packs, we operate in a wide range of industries and have divided the company into three business units. This position focuses on the Batteries business unit , specialist that helps companies in the Netherlands and abroad get the best batteries and accessories for their products.

Rapid electrification and our strong service are driving growth. To serve our customers even better, we are looking for an Inside Sales Representative. You will be the point of contact for our customers, both new and existing, advising them on our products and services by phone and e-mail. Together with the inside sales team, you provide the perfect combination of advice and commercial strength.

Your duties will include:

• Drafting, issuing and following up on quotations;
• Processing orders and keeping records;
• Recognising sales signals, following them up through acquisition and passing them on to the field service;
• Handling and processing first-line phone calls in a service-oriented manner;
• Working closely with colleagues from Purchase, Logistics, Engineering and Finance to meet delivery times and agreements.

Within Intercel, the inside sales department is an indispensable link to our customers and partners: in terms of service, advice and commerce. Because you will be dealing with very diverse target groups and solutions, you will also quickly gain knowledge of the battery market and energy storage in general.

If you join us, you can count on:

• Salary in a range of €2900 to 4500 gross per month (obv 38.75 hours per week);
• Opportunity to work part-time and full-time (minimum 4 days per week);

What do you bring?

• You have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar commercial role;
• Affinity with electrical engineering and energy transition, you want to know everything about this;
• You like working at our (brand new!) office in Haarlem;
• Ownership characterises your actions: you have the drive to always go the extra mile and be on the ball;
• You have a healthy dose of self-confidence and a solution- and result-oriented attitude;
• You have strong communication skills, recognise commercial opportunities and are strong in setting priorities;
• You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing.
