Battery Mechanic

About the position

You will assemble batteries, which you will do by installing and connecting control systems and connecting and switching the cells. In a beautiful modern workshop in Haarlem you will work with 30 other electricians on these sustainable applications. The batteries are designed by our engineers exactly tailored to the customer’s machine, the end product is therefore always different. This provides a lot of variety and challenge in your work. We make battery packages for large machine builders (excavators, aerial platforms), ships, data centers. We think in solutions and make products that have never been made before. Nothing is too crazy!

Your duties:

• As an electrician, you will assemble and mount various battery systems;
• Lay and connect electrical cables, link control systems and switch cells using electrical diagrams;
• Working in teams on with the latest techniques for battery solutions.

What do we offer?

• You can work 40 hours with us but also 36 or 32 hours per week;
• You will work 8 hours a day between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. (times to be agreed upon together);
• A good salary between €2400 and €3000 (gross per month based on a 40-hour work week);
• Fixed work location in our modern workshop in Haarlem;
• 28 vacation days (with fixed days between Christmas & New Year + day after Ascension) and travel allowance;

Who are you?

• You have experience in electrical engineering and can read an electrical schematic and understand all symbols;
• A motivated and enthusiastic person, you enjoy working together in a team;
• You like to work accurately and can concentrate well;
• You have a good command of the English language. English is spoken in the workplace.
