Application Owner

Intercel Group specialises in battery solutions, from design to production and from procurement to installation and service. As a result, we are constantly evolving. As an Application Owner, you will be a key figure within our organisation. You will work closely with users, suppliers and internal specialists to ensure our applications (e.g. Ridder, Teams, SAP Business One) run optimally. You will combine your expertise with hands-on tasks and take the initiative to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.

Your role revolves around improving, managing and coordinating application and system processes. You will report to the IT Manager.

What you will be doing:

  • You will support colleagues in using our applications;
  • You will deliver training to increase knowledge within the organisation;
  • You will optimise functionalities, authorisations and application settings to improve efficiency;
  • You will independently handle user queries, contribute ideas for solutions and liaise with suppliers where necessary;
  • You will act as an expert within projects and ensure consistency between different applications;
  • Have you worked with SAP Business One before? If so, this will be very useful, as we are currently integrating this application and could really benefit from your expertise and commitment in this regard;
  • You are the point of contact for colleagues regarding questions about IT (hardware and software) and the use of applications

Who are you?

You feel at home in a role that involves liaising between technology, processes and users. You have gained a few years’ experience and are ready for your next step. You think in terms of solutions, take the initiative and enjoy learning new things.

  • Higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking; a senior secondary vocational education (MBO 4) diploma with relevant experience is also suitable;
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role as a Functional Administrator or Application Administrator;
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Good administrative skills and experience with Office 365; knowledge of SharePoint, Teams and SAP B1 is an advantage;
  • You maintain an overview, work accurately, are proactive and remain calm when things get busy;
  • You can analyse complex information and make connections between processes, functionalities and data flows;
  • You actively contribute ideas, identify opportunities for improvement and can be deployed across a wide range of IT tasks;
  • Intercel has two offices in the Netherlands: Haarlem and Ede. You will be based at one of these offices (or live in the central area of Utrecht or Almere). You are willing to work at the other office one or two days a week.
